Ruth Langsford , 60, and her Loose Women colleagues looked back on their memories of Lynda, who passed away almost six years ago after a battle with cancer. Lynda served as a panellist on the show for six years and made a final appearance as a guest in shortly before she passed away in the October of said year. Taking to Twitter, viewers also spoke of their memories of Lynda and how much they missed the mother-of-two on-screen. But once you do, instead of worrying about dying, you must enjoy the bits in between.

Following the interview, Langford said it "seems unbelievable she's not here - she was still full of life". Street Porter added: "It just shows you all the best things about her - always thinking about other people and full of positivity. I think it will be inspirational for people. Speaking on the phone, Mellor said she had written the part for Bellingham in The Syndicate because she was "in awe of her talent".

The programme ended with a montage of clips of the actress on the show, in tribute to the "sassy, intelligent, honest and irreplaceable Loose Woman".
